Community Environment Facility II (CEF II) Funding Component

Reference is made to Guidelines for grant applicants for Restricted call for proposals 2011 Reference: CEF 2011 clause 2.1.1.2 sub section (i) under Eligibility of partners which inter alia states--Non-State Actors registered in Kenya or in a Member State of the European Union or European Economic Area, an official candidate country that is a beneficiary of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance and have presence in Kenya, the Africa Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) States, and least developed countries as defined by the United Nations. See Annex 6 for the list of eligible countries. Please be informed that the words reading: have presence in Kenya” have been deleted and should instead read “Non-State Actors registered in Kenya or in a Member State of the European Union or European Economic Area, an official candidate country that is a beneficiary of the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance, the Africa Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) States, and least developed countries as defined by the United Nations.
