The picture shows some members of the Community Development Trust Fund (CDTF) Board holding seedlings ready to plant while, Ms. Beatrice Manyonge, an officer of the Ministry of State for Planning, National Development & Vision 2030, representing the Chairman of the CDTF Board is busy planting a tree. The planting of the trees took place in Sururu forest, a block of the Mau forest on 20th May 2010 during a tour of the Mau East project by members of the CDTF Board. So far the CDTF with a grant from the European Union has supported rehabilitation of 200 hectares through Community Forest Associations (CFAs) under COMEG in the Mau.
